Business Mentoring presents - A Movement in Learning

Business Mentoring Inc began in 2001. We facilitated entrepreneur workshops and classes for low-income individuals, high school students, and at-risk youth. Starting at an alternative high school, we partnered with high school teachers, middle school teachers, and elementary school teachers.

Our goal is to create a learning environment. After reading “Meaningful Differences” and “The Social World of Children,” we decided to connect educators, parents, community leaders, and business owners. It takes all of us to help a child achieve in school and to be successful in life. Our research made us aware of “The Perfect Storm,” a system that has to be corrected now to prevent a future catastrophe.

P-16 (preschool through college) seems to be the appropriate method to help our young people. It provides a transition to learning at all levels. Appreciative Inquiry is a program that uses words of encouragement. Financial literacy, youth entrepreneurship, and investment clubs are becoming popular. These programs play an important role in education and business.

Business Mentoring is a nonprofit that provides comprehensive educational services to students and young adults who want to become self-reliant. Our goal is to connect education and business opportunities through proven and documented materials.
